1. Overvoltage Protection
Transient voltage suppression (TVS) diodes, such as our 5KP5.0A and P6KE350CA series, clamp voltage surges to safe levels, preventing oxide layer breakdown. These bidirectional TVS diodes absorb energy efficiently, protecting against ESD and power surges .

2. ESD Mitigation
MOSFETs’ high input impedance and small gate capacitance make them ESD-sensitive. Use our ESD protection devices (e.g., SMAJ15CA) to divert static charges. Grounding tools, conductive packaging, and humidity control (40%+ RH) further reduce risks .

3. Thermal Management
Excessive heat degrades MOSFETs. Optimize PCB layouts with copper pours and via arrays for better heat dissipation. Pair with our low-RDS(on) MOSFETs and aluminum heat sinks to minimize thermal runaway .

4. Gate Voltage Control
Add a 10–20kΩ gate resistor to discharge static charges and prevent floating gates. For high-frequency applications, our TVS diodes (e.g., SMBJ3.3CA) stabilize gate voltages, avoiding Miller effect-induced failures .

5. Current Limitation
Fuses or current-sensing resistors protect against overcurrent. Select MOSFETs with higher current ratings (e.g., our VN401 VMOS series) for robust operation .
