What should I pay attention to when welding diodes?

In order to save more costs, save space, improve integration and achieve high efficiency, many people will choose relevant welding equipment to weld diodes. However, due to lack of experience, many people are puzzled when welding diodes. In fact, it is not difficult to weld diodes. Just pay attention to the following points when welding diodes:

1. During the welding process, it should be noted that the welding time should not be too long, and some diodes can not be welded with electricity to prevent breakdown;

2. Diode, a device with two electrodes among electronic components, only allows current to flow in a single direction, and many uses are to apply its rectification function. The varactor diode is used as an electronic adjustable capacitor. The current directionality of most diodes is usually called "rectification" function. The most common function of diode is to allow current to pass only in a single direction (called forward bias) and block it in the reverse direction (called reverse bias). Therefore, the diode can be thought of as an electronic version of the check valve;

3. If it is a SMD diode, pay attention to the welding temperature. Generally, a constant temperature electric soldering iron is used, and the temperature is controlled at 350 degrees to prevent the diode from burning due to excessive temperature. When welding, the power supply of the welding element should be disconnected.
