Naming convention for rectifier bridges
In general, there are three numbers in the naming of rectifier bridges. The first number represents the rated current, A; the last two numbers represent the rated voltage (number * 100), V
For example: KBL407 is 4A, 700V
KBPC5010 stands for 50A and 1000V (1234567005, 01, 02, 04, 06, 08, and 10 represent voltage levels of 50V, 100V, 200V, 400V, 600V, 800V, and 1000V, respectively).
The principle of bridge piles
Bridge stacks, as a type of power component, are widely used. Applied to various power supply devices. It is mainly composed of a bridge circuit consisting of four diodes to convert the input AC voltage into the output DC voltage.
During each working cycle of the bridge stack, only two diodes are operating at the same time. Through the unidirectional conduction function of the diodes, AC power is converted into unidirectional DC pulsating voltage. Dissecting commonly used low-power bridge stacks reveals that,
The full wave bridge stack adopts a plastic packaging structure (most low-power bridge stacks use this packaging form). The four main heating components inside the bridge - diodes - are divided into two groups and placed on the copper plates of the DC output pins. Copper plate at the DC output pin
There are two connecting copper plates between them, which are respectively connected to the input pins (AC input wires), forming the full wave bridge stack with four external connection pins that we see in appearance. Due to the use of plastic packaging structures in this series of bridge stacks, the diodes mentioned above
The copper plates for pins, connecting copper plates, and connecting wires are filled with epoxy resin, a skeleton filling material that serves as insulation and thermal conductivity. However, the thermal conductivity of epoxy resin is relatively low (usually 0.35 ℃ W/m, up to 2.5 ℃ W/m), so the bridge
The thermal resistance between the structure and the shell of a pile is generally relatively high (usually 1.0~10 ℃/W).
