When checking the rectifier diode circuit with a meter after use, it is found that the rectifier diode has become sluggish. At this time, we inevitably explore the reasons for the damage of the rectifier diode. Generally, there are three reasons for the damage of the rectifier diode:

1、 The voltage used is too high, exceeding the reverse breakdown voltage of the rectifier diode, resulting in breakdown.

2、 The current is too high, and the current passing through the rectifier diode exceeds its rated current for a long time, causing overheating and burning.

3、 Low frequency rectifier diodes are used in high-frequency circuits, causing them to overheat and burn out.

If the rectifier diode is damaged, you can refer to the above reasons.
