Exclusion method used

The key points for using exclusion method are as follows:

① When testing, it is best to use the exclusion method only after testing that the integrated circuit power supply is normal. If the power pin voltage is abnormal, first check and repair the power supply circuit.

② Some integrated circuits only need their own and peripheral components to work properly, while others (with more digital integrated circuits) require other circuits to send relevant control signals (or feedback signals) to work properly. For such integrated circuits, in addition to checking whether the peripheral components are working properly, it is also necessary to check whether the integrated circuit receives the relevant control signals.

③ For integrated circuits with many peripheral components, the exclusion method is more efficient. Usually, the peripheral components of some important pins and easily damaged components are checked first.
